Default VIR Full

All I can say is WOW what a fun and incredibly fast track. It was a great day there with tons of track time and open track. I can not believe how few people actually showed up for this. On the way home I just kept thinking to myself when can I do this track again. I think my favorite part of the track is going straight at turn 7 on the North Course and running just about flat out in 5th through the S turns transitioning to the South Course.

Omar, Michelle, Ralph, Gary and Mike - It was good seeing you guys down there.

I wish I could have made it. I've never done the full course.

It was pretty insane. I actually hit 6th gear on my R1. Holding that throttle pinned going over the crest on south took some nerve.

I shot some good video. I'll put it up on youtube sometime this year...

Great track. I never ran though his much gas for a track ever. The connectors were 6th gear areas with the south course straight pinned in 6th and stretching the throttle cables hunting for more speed. Can't wait to do this configuration again.

You get that guy going up the inside of you in the south course kink?

Sorry I had the run on you and took it. You got me back with HP but I was right there looking at the target on your back, until you came in early that is

I got about 1 hour of video as well. I plan on watching it tonight and getting it uploaded at some point. How about those Moto ST guys on the 848's, they were moving.

I caught and passed Steve Kenedy. Calvin Martinez left me for dead...

I was still a pass, ugly one but still a pass. Sucks when the front pushed when you try to turn... We exchanged a few passes I recall before you pulled in early, that R1 must be a handful compared to my R6.

BTW Mike and I talked to Omar today about getting R1's.

It has become painfully obvious to me that horspower is not the answer.
I need a 600 to learn how to really go fast...

It was fantastic. It was great to get back out there after a long time off. Track rocks. The S's in the back section might honestly be one of the most fun and exciting turns i have ever experienced. I hope we go back. Hmm cmp weekend with a vir full monday.. I can do that again

What a great day! Michelle and I were so happy to see everyone, as usual the company was as awesome as the riding.
and you know what, traveling with Ralph is not as scary as people say, it was actually a pleasure. His rules are nothing compared to Michelle!!!! hahaha
I spent the day trying to get used to the new bike, it's so different from the old battle tank. I'm looking forward to a fun season!
