Daymn. Saw those on the WERA board and it's making me think of cancelling my Sept dates there. I'll wait a bit and see if they're going to do any decent fixes...
Such a shame they didn't do it right to begin with, it's an awesome layout, one of my favorites.

I was there last month and it was bad then, I have no plans on attending main until they repave that secition which I believe is turn 5. Hard to believe it was repaved last year.

no its not... what do expect it to look like after they paved it and raced on in 48 hours later???
countdown to concrete patches in 5...4...3....2....1....

48hrs? They got done paving on a Thurs evening and put cars on it Fri morning.

Yeah it was bad in June, apparently it is much worse now. The latest from the WERA bbs is that they are thinking about full width concrete patches in T1, T5, T6. As long as they have smooth transistions, i think that will work just fine. I dont plan on attending too may Summit days until it is fixed though.

NGB, myself, and 2 others are going down on the 18th. If it is really bad, I am going to beaver in Sept. John,Levi, can you switch to Beaver in Sept? I believe it is the 6th & 7th. ????

i dont think i will be doing the summit after looking at that mess. those beaver dates look good as of now. i'll let you know.
