yea negative on the hours of highway. even if it takes hours longer, id rather be on backroads. if it counts, I know some awesome ways to get to PA from somerset county 08844. from over the river up to lancaster area is you guys though.

Highway riding is definitley no fun. The route has yet to be worked out, but it will be mostly back roads, although I think we will now be meeting at a rest area on the turnpike around exit 8. Ill keep ya posted!

I rode out to Lancaster a few weeks ago actually and didnt touch a major highway once.... I was just picking some random roads... It took me 6 hours to get out there tho, but I was riding 2up, and mostly keeping to the speed limit...

What does Hooligan mean? sorry guys, Im only 3.5 months into this sport, so Im still learning the Lingo.

So, It seems as though everyone in the other forum is down to meet at 7 am at the Rest area I mentioned on the NJ TP. We will grab something to eat quickly and be on the road. Should take no more than 2 hours to get there from that rest area.

All the details are almost done so I will be sure to keep you guys posted!

(repeat) tsxguy77: Where might you be meeting up with "pauly?" in PA? I live on the "lap" (collection of roads when ridden in sequence form a loop and over time has been nicknamed the "Lap") near the "Wooden Wawa" here in Chester County, PA and I might be able to catch up with you folks. Please advise. Thanks.

Ok, looks like things are starting to come together. So, just as a quick recap,

- NJ riders will be meeting at Molly Pitcher Service Area on The Nj turnpike, located between Interchanges 8A and 8 southbound (7S) at 7am. We can meet and have something to eat.

- Stands up at 8am

- 10am we arrive in Lancaster via PA Turnpike, exit 266 and meet Pauly and the rest of the PA riders after toll booth.

- Follow Pauly to his place for a quick rest and a chance to plan the day.

- The rest is up to us!

**ATTENTION PA RIDERS**
If you would like to meet up with us too, please PM me your email address and I will get you intouch with the Guy who is heading up the crew from PA so everyone can meet up at an agreed location before we all come in from NJ.

ImmaSquashyou - Old Bridge is kind of out of the way for me. Im from Colts Neck and will be taking Rt 33 up to the Turnpike which is basically the spot we will be meeting the rest of the group. If you want, maybe I can meet you on Rt 9 in the Marlboro Freehold area and then we can head up rt 33 together. Same goes for anyone else.

That would be perfect! We can hop onto Rt 33 right there and be on our way.
