In the sense that I'm not seeing their form correctly and it's in fact good? Or about what I'm saying is good form?

Ok. What I'm looking at is the curve in the second student's spine based on the creasing in the right side of his suit (compared to the left). The last guy looks better but his head is pretty close to where his screen is (you can just see it over his right shoulder). Maybe the chick isn't so bad but just the way she has her head makes it seem as though she's twisted as well. She's also more upright out of the corner so might not be as pronounced.

I'm looking for a couple of pics to illustrate now, having trouble finding them.

edit: Awesome, thanks ginoe, that's what I was saying. BOTY might be right though, it could be an angle of view problem but they look like they're twisting to me.

Fast or slow, form should be the same.

You can still aim to have motogp level form without being a motogp level rider no?

Miguel's style works for him and that's very important. If it works for you and you're a top level racer then do what works. If you're pushing your own limits, getting less lean of the bike by being more off it is better. Better for the COG, better for more angle (available) and better for suspension travel. Personal comfort is important but my whole point was that there were three students (?) following a coach who all seemed to have poor form. While I do think using form that suits you can lead to increased comfort and therefore confidence which is a good thing, I think that as students (we're not pros) we should all strive for the best form possible.

there are lots of ways to ride a bike....all are not ideal...but they are not nessesarily wrong......
yes I think that their body position could be better...but all and all its not terrible either.
ever look at Mic Doohan, Miguel Duhamel, Tony Elias,Kevin Schwantz,Valentino Rossi....they are all different and ALL do little things WRONG from the IDEAL
