So far so good. I can even make and receive calls at my desk. Battery life is the next test. Its pretty much everything i have expected and more. I really like it

I had something really friggin weird happen with my iPhone the last couple of days. I have a 3GS that was on iOS 3.1.3. I updated it a while back to v4.01 or 4.1 and it KILLED my battery life so I reverted it back to 3.1.3 which was much friendlier to the 3GS's battery life. 3.x.x is also faster on a 3GS, 4 slows it down a little. Been like that for months and months now.
Out of seemingly nowhere my battery life fell through the floor 2 days ago. In less than 5 hours it would go from full charge to dead, even with everything off and in standby. I did a full cycle charge, still no help. I figured my battery was shot and needed to be replaced. So just for fucks sake I thought I would try updating the iOS. I updated to the latest v4.3.1 and voila. Battery life is just as good as it was previously on 3.1.3
I have no idea what could have caused that??? Now I'm just waiting for the the official Jailbreak for iOS 4.3.1 to be released.
