Cutie pie!!! Congrats!

Mary (the fiancee) and I have a cat (over 16 years old) right now, I don't know that I'll ever be ready for a dog. I'm too lazy!

Your going to want to start off with crate training, keep them in a secluded gated off area and place newspaper all over....once they start going in a certain spot, remove the paper all from that one spot...eventually she will just pee on that one spot, there will be accidents so no worries. My puppy is about 10 weeks old now and she is potty trained and already knows three basic commands of sit stay and come. It takes time and dedication but it sure is worth it

Im encountering right now with my dog testing my patience and she is starting to become aggressive with me. As soon as she tries to nip or snarl I grab her by the back of her neck as the mother would do lift her to my face and say NO! really loud. She then backs down and begins to lick my hand. Right now shes just trying to test me but if you fail this test she will become dominant and aggressive towards you.

WOW, she knows all that at 10 weeks...guess mine is a little slow
i'm a sucker for her so she's already trying to get aggressive with me, but her daddy puts her in check real quick. i better get with it!

Kennedy... let 'em know who's boss while they're young. Then they'll grow up thinking they're people. Like mine does. (pic of him is in my profile)

Bestest dogs in the whole wide world. Welcome to the club!
