Angry *rant* I Hate Litterbugs!!!!!

So I'm riding to work today and this crusty lady is in front of me smoking. She flings her butt out the window...I get a good wiff of a cigarette and then see this thing bouncing in front of me. I just then imagined if that thing hit me in the neck and burned me b/c it would have been stuck in my jacket - a crash would have happened and that POS women would have been gone....WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN TO STOP LITTERING! Doesn't anyone notice that we have enough trash in this world and majority of it is the people.

So did you ride up to her and kick her car? (I hear someone may have done that before...)

Well that would have a really bad case scenario, but I hear ya on that! I use my car "door pocket" as trash can until I clean up the car and empty it! Of course I don't smoke either, so nothing in there should light up! The only thing I can admit to flinging out the window is gum, but that's when I'm going for a new distance record by spitting it out! (I do check that there are no vehicles behind me to get hit by it)

I'm guilty of throwing cigarette butts out the window. That's about it though, mainly because I really don't eat or drink in my car all that much, and if I do, I throw it out when I stop somewhere.

I have a friend who's been hit by the spray of a giant cup of soda thrown out the window, hit with a beer bottle, AND got caught in the neck with a cigarette. I won't throw them if there's a biker behind me just for that reason. Otherwise, whatever...

LOL!

FYI.. most people's after market exhausts do way more damage to the environment compared to a couple of cigarette buts. Who smokes any more anyhow?

Crys I trust you would have much more self control on the bike to avoid a huge issue like a crash just because you were getting a little burned (if that was the case), tap it out with your glove thru your leathers till you find a suitable place to pull over, shit happens when you ride, just use your head and adapt to the situation so you're safe in the end.

Aside from that the bottom line is she was wrong for littering, I know cops that'll write drivers for that if they're dumb enough to toss it out the window while a cop is behind them.

I do throw my butts out the window. But i won't do it if there is a bike behind me. Well unless its a crappy harley, or a ugly chopper.
