Default Ever get stranded??

I was out on my dad's busa yesterday and everything was going fine until I tried to fire up the bike and the starter gear went out. Busa's are notorious for having that problem. Anyway I had to have my dad drive over to push start the bike cause I'm to light, the back wheel would just slide with me on it. Just wondering what other problems people might have experianced.

Yep. Wasn't fun. That's the primary I don't ride with people I don't know and don't do large group rides. Long story.

I got a flat on my bike last year, called AAA and they were "Im sorry sir we dont cover motorcycles.". I finally got home 3 hours later, cancelled my AAA membership and joined the AMA. The MoTow Plus is 60 bux a year and covers BOTH you cars and bikes.

Sunday.

Out in the heat, stuck in traffic, no room to squeeze through, almost at the Holland Tunnel...

Bike shuts off. Wouldn't start... the battery was dead. Luckily, where the bike died was right by the Classic Car Club, http://classiccarclub.com/

Let me say something right here... those guys were awesome. Not only were there some sick rides in there, including a couple MV's btw, but they were seriously cool people. I walk in, tell them my issue, and the guy hangin out with his kids goes off and grabs me a battery charger. No silliness, just "Sure, here ya go!" A quick jump later (well, after takin off a bit of plastic and lifting my tank ), and I was good to go. Thankfully the bike died in the right spot!
