Attn: Wheelie masters!
Well guys, I want to learn to wheelie my bike, I have an 06 R6 which I've heard they are a little trickier to wheelie. So if there's anyone who has the same bike as me or at least skilled in this area, I'd like some tips on how to start learning as safely as possible.  |

You're a n00b. Dont fret about wheeling.
Learn on a dirtbike. Trying to learn on a freshy new supersport is a good way to trash your bike and yourself.
If you must - look at youtube "how to wheelie".
It can and will get away from you very, very quick.

Trying to learn on a new bike is kind of stressful, hence why I haven't tried to wheelie it yet. I don't really have access to another bike to practice on. I am a noob but i have gotten pretty good on my bike, no chicken strips on my tires. I would like to basically take baby steps into doing wheelies, if possible. |

Well first thing you need to do is keep the down to earth mentality. Never think your good, great, or etc at riding. If you stay humble you'll keep learning.
As for wheelies, i sucked at them and really can't give you any advice. I mean you can always do the 1st gear power up wheelies. But be careful, you can't hit your front brake lever and expect to stop a looping bike.

I haven't tried either, that's why I'm asking which ones would be easiest to start. e.g. clutchups, roll on power, stand ups. Basically I would like to know, with my bike what type of wheelie is easier to do as a start. |

Have some faith guys, I'm asking you guys before I start trying to pop her up so I can try and gain as much knowledge as I can. So I can start practicing wheelies without crashing. |
