biker on williamsburg bridge hit a car and was tossed over the bridge?

yeah, it's crazy. One thing I always feared about being on a bike was rear ending someone and getting tossed into a tree with a broken limb and like getting speared. I don't know why, but it's something I always thought about. I guess getting tossed off a bridge is no better.
