Default My Motorcycle Trip

My parents were planning a trip for with their friends to go out west and invited me and of course I said I would go. They were heading to South Dakota and Wyoming. They trailered my bike down to Deadwood, South Dakota and I jumped on a plane and met them. We stayed in SD for a week and then went to Wyoming for a week with some visits to Montana. Highlights of the trip was the badlands and driving in the desert. Doing 150 in the desert and not worrying about deer, crap on the road or cops.

2,700 miles

I take pictures when I ride...

Devils Tower- Wyoming

Badlands- South Dakota

Badlands

Badlands- with a goat

Bikes POV

Old Faithful

I climbed up this mountain on a day I wasn't riding and got this great shot.

Moose

cloud crossing

Ice on the mountain

yeah thats what those guys were doing on the top.
The bike held up great. The high altitudes made it run like crap though. I did go to stugis on the last Saturday of it. I wasn't that impressed. The weather I think had a lot to do with it.

I have almost 800 pics but didn't want to bore you guys ha. These are just some of the highlights.

rob i'll be ordering new tires in a week to have you put them on. There are so many highway miles on these tires they are looking like a harley tire. No matter how many hairpin turns there were on the amazing roads it didn't make up for the hundreds of miles of straight roads i was on.

its definitely different there. I hope you like country music. Thats all you hear in walmart, the little stores, and bars. The people are really amazing though. They do this weird thing I haven't seen in NJ, they are nice to other people.
