clutch question..

Default clutch question..

just wondering how to adjust my clutch on my '06 636
due to wear and tear...no slippage yet but my lever grabs higher
than it used to..
and it is cable clutch not hydraulic..

there should be adjustment on the linkage right by the clip-on

so clockwise or counter clockwise??
i know htere is an adjuster thingie at the lever and there's one
at the housing as well..

Turn it whichever way gives you some free play in the lever.
Typically about 1/16 of an inch.

Theres no way to adjust where the clutch starts to engage. The adjustment on the lever perch should have about 1/8" of slack.

As long as there is freeplay when the lever is all the way out, you can adjust a cable clutch to engage closer or farther. Just make sure the clutch is fully DISengaged when squeezed all the way in.
