Default New wheels arrived yesterday

Ok....they were delivered to me by Jeff from East Coast Wheels. All I can say is ECW has treated my better than any shop...EVER.

Long story short.

I ordered my wheels about a week before my 1st motard practice at E-town, problem was my hubs didn't come back in time so Jeff stepped up to the plate and lent me his wheels off his motard to use (fresh rubber too). Practice was rained out.

Anyway, here they are and IMO look SWEET!! They did forget to use the black spokes I requested but they are going to swap out the silver ones after my practice this weekend (no charge of course).

If anybody is going to try the motard thing, I recomend ECW.

I purchased Berh rims (3.5in front and 5in rear), RAD hubs and Michelin cut slick SM tires (with tubes) all for $1250ish.

Dude, see if you can get the flexible Z-Rims for it

Cool deal Bri...it'll look bad ass with the black spokes.

Hey....I still have my Robinson BMX bike with white Z-wheels and a super comfy Uni-seat (probably why my RC51 seat does not bother me).

Anywho, it was great doing business with ECW.

BTW - the bike looks way cool with the Moto Master caliper and big ass floating rotor. Too bad it's not street legal.

Um.....Raceway Park has a motard series this year.....5min drive from me casa, could not pass it up. Plus I have not been riding the 426 and this was the best way to blow off the dust that has been collecting on it.

I will be bringing it to Summit......it will be my rain bike.

Z rims are the BMX wheels from when I was a kid that were this plastic type material, and if you bent them, you would take them off and throw them in either the dishwasher or freezer and they would straighten back out.

Cakes joked about them in his post.

I should be there as long as the weather looks good. I'm going to be very picky on where I race this year since I have my/our wedding to pay for in October and my fuggin money tree is not growing.

With the CCS and WERA dates at Summit I have a lot to pick from. plus I'm doing quite a few dates at e-town with the NSR50 and the motard. Still going to have a full schedule but we are going to travel less in order to save $$$. Aug thru Oct is when I really want to race the GSXR sice I get to race F40!!!

Might have pics later today or tomorrow....still have a few more parts to put back on the bike. It's really nothing special.....more or less a low budget motard racer. Still using the stock suspension (need to be able to go back to dirt), a moto master caliper and rotor and a Brembo master. Thats it.
