i was on patrol the other night on routes 1 & 9 on the shoulder lane about 1/2 mile from the Pulaski Skyway updating my paper work from a minor fender bender when a car blew by me. the radar in my patrol car wasnt beeping but it was a steady ring, i look at it and a car flew by at about 80MPH. normally i wont give anybody a speeding ticket but its like the driver didnt even acknowledge me. now my roof lights are already on so i pulled out into the lane a caught up to the driver and pulled the driver over. i got out and asked him for the regular, LICENSE, REGISTRATION and INSURANCE. he asked me why did i pull him over i told him i will explain why i pulled him over after he gives me his credentials. he gave them to me and then i explained why i pulled him over, he said that he was only going like 10 miles over the limit, i said no sir you were doing 35MPH over the limit. i went back to my car to radio in the license number and it came back suspended. i got out and asked him why are you driving on the suspended list and he had this shit eating excuse that he forgot to pay his insurance surcharge BLAH BLAH BLAH.

i was going to give him a break and just give him a seat belt ticket until he kept running his mouth calling me a liar and that he was only doing no more then 10MPH over the limit and i told him the radar doesnt lie, he said no the radar isnt lying but i am. so after that i said fuck it and gave him a + 15 speeding ticket and a suspended of license ticket. i should have towed his car to and took him in but i didnt wanna go through extra paper work of all that being my shift was over in another 15 minutes anyways.

im almost certain hes gonna try and take it to court with a lawyer and i am NOT gonna drop anything and make him suffer longer, im gonna even push for an additional license suspension for 6 months!!!!!!!!

You were dealing with an idiot!! He knew he was getting pulled over and the suspension will come up and he wants to argue about the speed you clocked him at....Good! Now it will cost him more....maybe he will learn to keep his mouth shut next time...
