Sci-Fi is an exaggeration of the imagination but it fuels innovation.
Star Trek communicator became the flip-phone.
Self-driving cars in i-robot (movie) are appearing.
Those Chinese AI algorithms are starting to gather user data on behavior patterns, so Minority Report (movie) will someday become reality.
AI in its infancy is already out-thinking the human brain. The MATRIX may be sooner rather than later.
Skynet will not be gunning for the humans - it will be FACEBOOK.
