There's no need for an expensive nutritionist when you have Papa John keeping an eye on your suspension adjustments ...and cutting out Hot Fries also makes it a lot easier.

When I was tired of going to the gym I took up road biking. It's simply amazing how much fat the entire body sheds while packing on nice muscle tone after riding 25-75 miles a week.

I've been losing weight off and on since last summer. Trackdays and sweating in full leathers on the grid are a big part of that.

However, in the winter months, I eat more and feel worse, thus leading to NOT being able to fit in my leathers come the first track weekend of the season

I'm around 140lbs and would like to shed 20-25lbs by summer.

I'll be joining a gym, less then a 1/4 mile from my house (so I don't have an excuse) with my girfriend so we can do the buddy system work-out. If I don't have anyone to pair up with I won't push myself to go

I'm just hoping to lose the weight, then maintain and tone.

Congrats to everyone who is well on their way to achieving their goals!

I need to get to the gym though...I'm actually losing weight wihtout excersicing...I'm gonna need to sculpt this fat into something.

My sister was sick of hearing me complain about being fat and pushed me to go to WW...so I thank her for doing that...otherwise I'd probalby be close to 350 right now..dur.

You'd THINK the turning point would have been Summer '03 when I went to Great Adventure and couldn't go on all the rides or got kicked off some cuz I was too big for it...EMBARRASSING!!!!
I agree...I follow the points to curb my intake.

..You can pretty much eat anything if you are riding 5 days per week at around 100 miles per week.

EDIT: 195.5 this morning.

I'm doing the south beach diet. Completely eliminated sugar, simple carbs, and reduce fat as much as possible.

My goal was to lose 30 lbs but I'm almost there so I'm going to increase it too 40lbs. I havent weighed 220 for over ten years...
I'm 6'2"ish and don't look hella fat at 255...but more a "big guy"...but no way in hell I'm taking my shirt off at a pool or whatever. Hopefully my skin shrinks back down.

I like the points cuz now I know when I'm going over....i ate like a mad man before WW...not even thinking how bad it all was...HUGE bowl of cereal, tons of milk and all that other crap. NOw that I know what the points are of everything...I KNOW when I'm eating more then I should be...so it just makes it easier to know and say to myself "you shouldn't eat that" only cuz it will go over my daily points.

Does that make sense?

but I'm dead sexy!!
actually I do need to get back into shape in a big way. Got a little excess in the middle. But I have some problems with excersize
1. Weights are heavy! so why lift them? and when you do you just wind up putting them back where you got them, so lots of work and nothing accomplished
2. Cardio is a pain! You run on a treadmill for ever (or stationary bike, etc), then you get off and you're in the exact place. once again, lots of work and nothing accomplished
, yes I am a dumbass, thank you

well instead of driving in to work, how about running... that will solve the running in place dilemna.... and you will save gas and the environment... you do create a new problem however... you wont eaxctly be smelling like roses, which could hurt your sales...
