Well here it is, point blank!!!!

Me and a friend, financing a trailer together for a little or close to 2 years. And as of right now that trailer is in repossession. $457.00 is due on it. My name isn't on this loan, therefor it won't screw up my credit.

He didn't have a to place to leave it when he mentioned about getting a trailer together. So fine, I'll leave it at my house, I got the room to put it. I couldn't get to the trailer place to fill out the paper work together. Co and Joint. So he went and did it himself. Fine no problem it'll get paid still.

The payments added up really fast. The payments were $108.00 a month. Due on the 8th of every month. My wife was writing the checks out at $216.00 a month. And apparently so was he. making total payments monthly of $432.00.

WELL!!!!!

I get a call from a (336) number.. Okay who is this, so I answer it. It's Sheffield. The bank where it's being financed. Apparently this friend gave them my cell number to fix this mess but I come to find out it is in repossession and $457.00 over due.

My wife went through all the checks and statements from the bank. I paid close to $2000.00 (yes fast)(we have the copies of the checks made out to him, with "trailer payment" on the memo) and $1500.00 is left on the loan AFTER paying $457.00 to get up caught up to date. Okay that is $1957.00 TOTAL!!!!!

I was able to get them to fax me an application to transfer it into my name. But it looks like I might have to pay the $457.00 to get it caught up before I do!!!

Someone will be hearing my mouth Monday for sure!!!!!!

Damn john.. thats messed up.. It was in repo from the start ? how could they sell it without a clean tittle?

We are financing it for close or a little over 2 years now.

He wasn't making payments. I paid my half off early by making double payments. And me, i was under the assumption he was also doing the same thing. But he wasn't. After finding this all out we were thinking he was going to start making the payments after my half was paid, or wasn't going to pay at all, there's a million possibilities why. Only to find out, he won't be paying anything at all now. But after looking at all the statements from my bank, what I paid was what was paid to the bank minus a few bucks in finance charges. nothing more, nothing less.

1. Call this so call friend and ask him to meet up
2. When you meet with him walk up to this piece of shit
3. Then

and if he dares to say one word

4. Take his wallet and card keys
5. Sell his car to pay the loan off if you need more $$$ charge it to this dick's credit cards.

But hey this is just how I would handle it.

Update. I got all the forms in from Sheffield Bank. Being he typed up a letter saying he is signing over the trailer to me, and got it notarized from Soverign Bank. I was able to get the entire payment history starting from May of 2007. there were 15 late payments, 1 bounced check and is 4, almost 5 months behind. Balance of $1573.27

Before they can transfer the "loan assumption" over to me I have to first satisfy the late payments which will be the 5 months at $545. That will leave ma a balance just over $1000 to be paid at a lower rate and payment of $84 and change a month. I should just pay the god damn thing off.
