Get a suit with the water tank hump...fill it with fuel!

the 2 straight hours is very tempting... but worried one or two crashes could really cut down the riding time..

even two 45 minute sessions with a 30 minute break in the middle would probably kill me i am so out of shape!

f that, anyone who crashes can either walk back to the pits or chill at the corner workers station for a couple hours contemplating exactly what he did wrong

So what do you think?

Drive 4 hours, ride 2, then drive 4 hours back home?

Ive got nothin goin on and my time isnt worth anything. Gas is free for me too. :-)

Still a lot of drive time for 2 hours of track time...hmmmm.

The average trackday isnt much more.

We usually get 6-8 20 minute sessions throughout the day.

That was by Google maps, so it's probably a little shorter than that, 3 1/2 maybe.
Pretty sure I'm going to sign up today.

It they're going to do this format I think I should be fri-white, sat-red, sun-blue. I can almost guarantee that after seeing how the combined red/blue session were during the premier days multiple times last year especially on summit that the red/blue open track is going to be a demolition derby with lots of off track excursions and crashes. All it takes is that one guy in red group with the ego to go f you when some guy in blue comes flying up and tries to take him on the brakes.

I agree with stiffy but on the flip side I liked the red/blue mixed days when I was in red BC i was able to ride and learn from faster guys. But like he said theres always one or two with egos bigger than their brains. ...
I think this whole twilight things sucks though, why cant we just run from 9-6 and be done with it. doesnt make sense at all to me from a riders standpoint

Well you may be right but I'm glad they did it cause I'll get a chance to ride that track when otherwise I wouldnt have. I don't know if it will be worth it or not, but whatever, atleast I have it to look forward to! I think it will be fun riding with some Blue dudes...I'd be pumped to see someone pass me on the brakes. And it'd be fun to see how slow I am. No ego for me, just holding my line and minding my own business. (plus there's a lot of run off so i can always just keep goin' straight. ;-) )
Anybody know if I'll be the only one out there? Has anyone signed up?
