Default Beaver Run Track day pics Aug 2-3

Here are some pics from Beaver Run. I'm still having trouble hanging off too much on the left side. Still working on my form on the right side. I got bumped to blue group but a long ways to go before I'm considered "fast". I was running 1:08's consistently but Pirelli DCIII's are not going to cut it in blue group.. time for DOT's and tire warmers!!

at least you didnt post any of you passing me my weekend was a little disapointing but they did get some good pics. So my goal is to work my ass off strengthen up the legs and maybe shed another 10 pounds for the sept dates and get back at it.

I think also seeing the others do well on sunday and me riding like crap didnt help either, but it was at least good to see ian go to blue and john levi and jase benefit from the pt.

Tommy why don't you get some PT as well. It couldn't hurt man. Ralph can only say so much to you, you'll have to start just doing it.

Nice pics Ian, and cangrats on the bump! This one goes in the books as another great Beaver w/e. The weather was perfect, and was good hangin with everyone. Good to meet ya Drew. And best of all, red flags kept to a minimum all weekend means loads of track time!

I am seriously considering it for september, I also resumed my conditioning and will be hitting the gym and kickboxing big time to reimprove my cardio and strengthen up my knees.

Very sweet pic.

Beaver is definitely an awesome track but I wish I had been there before (apparently) the bumps got a lot worse. Anyone who complains about Pocono really needs to stfu and ride BeaveRun. It took a while to get used to the bumps but I think by the second day I was able to somewhat ignore them and let my bike take the beating. The best part was running back and forth with mario for most of both days, in sessions where we didn't hit any traffic we were running consistent laps within .01-.05 seconds of each other with a fastest lap of 1:04.85

Good lookin' pics man. I'm struggling with the tire issue myself...i may still use the DCIIIs...i always said I wouldnt be the guy with the warmers and all the other crap that goes with it. I have a canopy, and a stock bike under it with a kick stand. We'll see... Can we start a thread on tires?? hehe

My form to the right blows...well prolly my form in general...but i cant turn right. I should figure it out soon before I fall off.

The bumps didn't bother me at all...try slowing your pace. ;-)

You don't need warmers, Kendal (acronut) runs a fast blue group pace without them. The only reason I got them was to have peace of mind about going all out into turn 1 without wasting a lap warming the tires. Tire life/heat cycles really aren't an issue.

Most the coaches run SC's with no warmers. Just take it a little easy the first lap and then go.

BTW most coaches have race bodywork and kickstand, just makes life easier.
