Good Lucking gettin in. When I worked for them they didn't hire very often, because once you're in you generally don't want to leave unless the airline folds...
But no they pay isn't good, the benefits are

If I was a chick, I'd be giving head for $2k/wk plus gifts from wealthy execs. If they'd put up more, I'd give up more.

just go serv tables a few nights a week.... for extra cash in your pocket you can't beat it, even if you only make 50 bucks one night that probably means you'll be done by 8 PM or so...

I've had plenty of experience serving at diff. places and this isn't necessarily always the case....depends on the flexibility of your FT job hours, as well as the PT establishment you work at and their needs and shift hours and maybe even how late they're open til. There are alot of variables here to consider beyond just stated. I say as long as you can work whatever hrs. they want and it's good $$ then do it. Check around and find a reputable/well known place and you're good to go so it's not a waste of your time. Also, if you can use someone as a referral that helps...personally, I'm looking around right now for a Bartending job too so I know where you're at Rev...

i'd suggest you check craigslist, lots of pt and ad hoc jobs on there.
another suggestion is trying to find work as a server/bartender/barback for a hotel/banquet hall. they'll usually employ you for a day, you show up let's say at 3pm to start work as a server for someone's wedding and leave when the party is done with. as a banquet server, generally they pay you a fixed $ amt along w/ an hrly rate; ie: $2.50/hr and a "tips" fixed payment of $125(maybe more). it's a decent gig for the time you're putting in, most places will let you take leftovers home. Best case scenario is you work a wedding reception, snag some leftovers and get a little boom boom w/ the bridesmaids.
