I'm the same way. I wear a leather Astars jacket (with no venting, so I'm dyin'), leather Astars gloves, jeans, leather boots, full face helmet. Usually a tee or tank under the jacket, anything else and I would die for sure :omg:
I used a mesh Joe Rocket the first two seasons I rode and have since retired it to the garbage pile after finding out how unsafe they are.
I'd rather suffer and be protected, drinking lots of water at every stop, them be squid-er-ific

Here in FL, I always say that if it's too hot for gear, then it's too hot to ride.
For summer, I wear a JR Phoenix jacket, JR Phoenix pants, boots, JR Highside gloves, full-face helmet, and a hairglove. That's when it's really hot out. I'm glad I get cold easily....I don't mind it as hot as most people do. he he You do still have to remember to keep drinking fluids to stay hydrated though.

Well I tried one of those Joe Rocket mesh jackets and it really sucked. First of all it must be made for short people because it was so damn short. Although it was thin it still gave a bulky feel. Back to the drawing board

During the summer, I wear either my Joe Rocket Phoenix or Alpinestars T stunt air flow jacket. I wear a full face helmet, Phoenix gloves, Icon super duty boots, and Draggin Jeans with Icon leg armor underneath. As Kawi said, if it's too hot to wear gear it's too hot to ride.

I just picked up a Joe Rocket mesh jacket. I wouldn't trust it to go on a spirited ride, but I think for commuting to work it should be ok.
I've seen some Rev'It mesh jackets that looks like they'd hold up great in a get off, but they're pricey at around $240.
