Don't believe that hype.. It is a POS that will cost thousands to rebuild after the valves take a crap after 2 trackdays. A Honda CRF-250 motor is SLOW as shit and they co$t tons to rebuild. The rebuild schedules for the 250's in the ama lites class are 4 hours. yes.. 4 hours. If a couple of energy drink sponsors pulled out of that class it would die because no one can afford to keep these POS running.
BTW the 2 smoke is far from dead. In 2008 the AMA is bringing back the 125cc & 250cc - 2 STROKE ONLY CLASSES!
oh and fuck honda!

I don't see how advancing 125's and 250's to 4 stroke would be any good for professional racing, it'll take them at least one lap just to get into the high gear.

Erik is working a sponsorship from a couple of dealers to build an 07 CR250 time capsule... the last of the 2 smoker MX'ers from Honda.
on the F honda... the dealer network makes out pretty good on those $3000 top end jobs great reason to dump 2 strokes!
