I think it was all the people popping motors (or popping drain bolts) and coating the front straight with oil

Definitely not good news. I wonder if Monticello will fair differently...

If I had to guess, the addition of hot showers caused it.

They are in Chapter 11 (reorganizing debt while they maintain normal business).......not Chapter 7 where they liquidate everything to pay off debt and close up shop.



Beaver Run has been (or at least was) in Chapter 11 for quite some time now

Bob, the locals were complaining about the bikes at Monticello and the noise. There's a thread on it on WERA. Plus there were safety concerns for the bikes anyway.

Plus Monti never intended bikes to be there for the long haul anyway. Bike's weren't kicked off because of fault so to speak. They were allowed in for a short period of time with the intention that the facility was going to be returned fully to their paying members.

If I was a paying member of a golf country club for example and couldn't use the facility because it was being rented out on a weekly basis to the local high school golf team I would be pissed, wouldn't you?
