i thought the show sucked as usual, no accessories, no cool aftermarket parts, lots of shiney soda cans and anti fog booths.

The vendors had some decent stuff. I was intent on buying another leather jacket. 3 hours later I walk out with nothing but a credit card receipt and my girls got a brand new leather jacket. How the hell does that happen?

No innovation and plain. I didnt see one thing that really caught me. Worse of all was the lack of sport bike displays.

Were you expecting strobe lights and fog? Every production bike available in the US by Honda was on the floor at their display.

Here's just a few that I snapped...I have so many on my camera yet to upload but overall the show was ok and I even got to drag a knee on the buell ...I enjoyed the city alot more though. Found a good old bar "OldTowne Pub" I think it was called(near Union Square) and grabbed some food. Very good food I even got to watch a couple get married at Times Square..Poor Suckers

Here's my next toy I want

Here's the OCC goobers in the lower left corner ...

Strobe lights and fog? Listen, theres a huge difference between displaying and "showing" your product. Dont get me wrong, it was my buddies at Powerhouse that were working it, but after walking around the other displays it became apparent that Honda didnt put much heart into theirs. Just having the bikes there isnt enough. I wouldnt let my sales people get away with it.

Blame TV for making the soda cans popular.

One thing I noticed from a lot of friends. When you are in the market for something like a bike or whatever, the show is somewhat exciting. When you basically have what you want, there is nothing to look forward to. I go to see people I don't see but once or twice a year, thats my payoff.

Stop at the Ear Inn next time on Spring St, it's a popular biker spot.
