modifying bodywork

Default modifying bodywork

does anyone know any local shops that will be willing to convert my sharkskinz street kit to a racing set? since my theft i didnt feel like using the sharkskinz for the street anymore so i decided to just convert it to use on the track when i decide to do some track days.

You mean fill in all the holes where the headlights, turn signals and brakelights are? You also mean making a bellypan for the bottom? You might just want to sell that kit and buy a track set. Or duct tape the holes over(aka Jeff ). Or buy some long strand bondo, fiberglass matting and do it yourself.... lots cheaper!

or you could just keep the bike as a street bike the way it is.

cant you just leave the holes where they are? it doesn't really affect your track riding ..?

It can when you're up in triple digits...but like jeff does, you can put tape across the headlight area. Its also wise to have track bodywork with a solid belly pan to catch oil should something happen(which reminds me, I have to fix the hole where the exhaust burned through.)
