autozone has mobil1 mx4t for 8 dollars a quart so i use those along with a mobil1 oil filter. cant go wrong with mobil 1 oils. i change it every 2k only cause i like to rev it up pretty high before i shift and i take it up to school alot so the climbing of the hills does put some stress on the bike.

and yes cakes oil does become acidic when left in the bike for too long, thats why its recommended that you change your oil when putting the bike into storage.
