Default Pics From Deals Gap

For those who have never been to Deals Gap but wanted to go...do yourself a favor and just go. THis was my first trip to the Gap and it was amazing. For those who don't know, 129 or "The Dragon" itself is a road that is 11 miles long with 318 turns its insane. Some other roads like 28(which we stayed on) 143, the Cherohala, and the Blue Ridge I really liked with sweepers that just seemed to go on forever. The Tree of Shame is pretty cool..people who get bit by the dragon hang up their parts lol. Met a bunch of great people too...mad respect to the locals who tear it up like its nobodys business. Sorry there aren't more pics of the other bikes..some came out freggin blurry  WSprtuaL and his girl Nikki came out as well...for those interested we'll be making this a yearly event and the cabin sleeps 8 so theres pleanty of room...

On 28 EH? - Did you stay at Fontana Village?
That's where Killer Loop, jrleky, and I stayed
when we were down there. Nice place to hang
out when you're not riding. If you did stay at
Fontana Village did they have the bar stocked yet? :biggthump

We stayed at the "Motorcycle Cabin" on 28 next to Friendly Fields General Store. It's the cabin that has a real motorcycle hanging from one of the unused doorways by cables It's pretty crazy. The cabin sleeps 8 with 1.5 baths, full kitchen, satellite tv, dvd, vcr and stereo. Oh, and the firepit out front too.... Pyro

Great place! It's tradition

For those that have never heard about or ridden it, the Dragon is no joke, or track either for that matter, cuz you can have fun doing....

Big-rigs/trucks run that route all the time and they're obviously too large to do so. If you're going to run it for the first time keep an eye on your speed. And for more cool pics like these check out www.killboy.com.
