Boots
Looking for some suggestions on riding boots. I tend to ride most of the year so warms would also be a factor. After all, ankles are complicated pieces of body. and after seeing some of my firends results.. quite fragile.

Riding boots are designed to offer supreme support & protection over standard work or walking boots.

I Was looking into the sidi. I was also wondering if the sizes run the same as regular footwear. Im just not sure which would be the best type to get. Im a pretty sedate rider / commuter.

If you have trouble finding a good fit, try:

They'll make a pair of boots just for you.

Sidi makes a great boot. http://www.sidisport.com/eng/motorcy...asp?ATp_ID=M02
Sizes might be different from one make to the next, if that's the case you should head to a shop and try them on.

I've been very happy with my Alpinestars Supertechs. Great ankle protection.

I have had my sidi vertigos for a few months now....All I can say once they are broken in they make amazing boots. I ride...come home and don't even take them off until an hour later thats how comfortable I find them. They are light and very well made....Its itilian.

Sidi sizing is a little odd... I got a pair of vert 2s in the beginning of the season and they were so small I was afraid I might have to return them... they eventually broke in and are fine now... later on I got a pair of Sidi Citys for the street so I didnt wear out the vert2s too quickly... same size, and these things are WAAAAY too big....
great boots though!

I have Alpinestars SMX boot, great protection from all that Lorica held up well in a spill at the track without much damage. Comfy as anythin ever, wear them all day sometimes.
