I'm looking to addopt a small dog for my father, who wants a fishing buddy/ companion. Any ideas where to look???

Go to Bergan county animal shelter you can look at the dogs on www.petfinder.com They also have other shelters on there. I had adopted a dog and cat from Bergan county animal shelter with no problem. We went somewhere else and they said we will get back to me and never did.
