new to this forum was referred here by Kennedy. just wanted to say hey and introduce myself. i dont own a street bike yet, have only ridden dirt bikes but im plannin on taking the plunge as soon as i have the cash.

i have heard good things about gsxr600. my friend is selling his 2001 for around 3 g's 11000 miles. what do u guys think? it looks to be in pretty good shape

Yea, stay away from Suzuki too, their build quality isn't what it was back in the oh yea, it never was LOL
Buy a Honda.......
Oh yea take a class if you are going to ride on the street, you will most likely learn something, have fun and get your license. If you take the test on a scooter you are a loser LOL.
