Anytime Levi, that's what friends are for.

Thanks Cakes for posting up about Neil. We were hanging out with him up until he went out on the track. I wasn't sure if it was okay to post up something or not.
He is in our prayers...

Good times with good people. Thank you Sue for spending your birthday with us.

Also would like to thank Lizzy of Lizzy Leather. Fixed my leathers right there in the paddock without having to take then off. Fixed the zipper, so no more tape on my leg...

Great time guys... West didnt excite me as much as I had hoped, but I am always open to giving a track a second try.

My second time on Summit Main was much more enjoyable, for sure.

There were 3 Heli rides between Fri/Sat and hopefully none on Sunday. I was a little too far from the first incident to see what had happened, I just caught the tail end of the crash as I was passing by. The second crash I was literally right behind as he had just passed me on the straight and my guess is he was just going far too fast for the third lap of the first session of the day. Looked like the bike just broke loose and he slid right into the air barrier. Those two incidents oddly enough happened in the same corner, in opposite directions.

The third incident as Joe mentioned involved a friend from the site that we were talking to during the riders meeting, and I hope for the best. I don't have any details either, and if details could be posted or PM'd I would be greatly interested in knowing how he is doing and if there are any visiting hours, etc. Keep in mind its generally proper etiquette to get consent before posting any details, which is why I havent posted anything about it at this time.

I tried to let Pete (marker/insurance guy) and Nick (nj4fi) know Saturday since I have personally ridden with them with Neil, but had outdated numbers for them both.

Taken from another source....Neil get well soon man we are here for you.

Quote:
Neil is in ICU at Thomas Jefferson in Philly. I spoke with his father and he told me to thank everyone who was at the track that day for doing what they could to help him and gather his things. Neil has sustained serious injury to his spinal cord and his father says he's still in shock and has been through one opperation so far and is scheduled for another tomorrow or Wed. That's about all his father could say at the moment.
I've known Neil for quite some time and can say he's one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Lets keep him in our hearts and prayers. If any other news of his condition surfaces I'll keep you guys informed. Thanks everyone (Ernie, Smokin Joe, Doc, David, and everyone who was there) for helping him.

Just a little update for you guys. Neil is going for surgery number 2 tomorrow. Gonna be a long day, but he is strong and keeping a positive attitude.

He should be back in a room with a phone number on friday. If anyone that wants to get a hold of him just shoot me a pm.

Oh and joe he said "you don't even know the fat chick story" then he thru in a fake xenos laugh at the end.
