Default So.. I'm upgrading my Fork internals

Removed from my bike , crated in a gun case. Gun case covered in a cardboard box to avoid curious bastids. Shipped to http://www.gpsuspension.com/

now I'm excited for spring...

Yes .... I did consider WCW... I just felt like being difficult.

And NO ....I absolutely DID NOT consider DZ Tuning.....

Awesome! You just getting them revalved and resprung? My forks were shipped out this past week too. They're going out to thermosman himself for full 25mm ohlins cartridge kit. Can't wait to get them back along with a custom valved TTX shock, 2-1/2 months till march to race the new bike! Looking forward to finally running full suspension on a bike thats set up correctly. No DafanZ de-tuning for you? Haha

Cool... Yeah ,re-valved and re-sprung. For me to go for a 25mm ss cartridge...well lets say thats way more than my skill level can take advantage of...and my bank acount as well.

Now no one will be able to keep you in sight at trackdays.... LOL

Hey ... where did he go...

What'd you decide on? I just sent mine down to Traxxion, revalve/repring...with all of their superdooper special parts for $800.

Hey outta curiosity what did it cost you to send you forks out?

Forks are being delivered to me today.... cost me $56 dollars to ship them to Oregon with insurance for 2K plus the cost of the gun case . GP charged my credit card $545 including the return shipping and insurance... but that was only for new valving and service (new seals, oil, labor ect). The tech out there called me and said he recomended keeping the stock springs because they dynoed fine and were the right ones for my weight. .95kg. I asked if they were progresive and he said no. single rate.. cant wait to mount them and get to the track

Returned to me the other day with the old parts in baggies ,just waiting for some more moderate weather to go out to my unheated garage to put them back on the bike.

Recomended that I drop the forks level with the top tripple.... we will see. I liked the way the bike felt with the forks raised a little (cant remember the measurement off hand as I have it written down out in the garage).
