Question Powder coat my wheels

Im thinking about powder coating my wheels...especially since my front rim cracked and was replaced but now I have a polished wheel and a stock black wheel...

In any event looking for some feedback on powder coating:

Pros/Cons
Shops (competetive pricing)
Can I sand blast myself and just take it somewhere to get coated?
Does it corrode or chip easily over time?
Are colors limited?

Mark knows this kid too. I've met him a few times and he's a nut about bikes! No one can go near his bike, but a cool kid. I suggest letting Mark talk to him first.
