I always find it funny how the large majority of evangelicals are Republican and 80% of them voted for Bush. I thought Jesus loved the poor, I guess just not enough to give them money.

BTW, I hate welfare. My mother-in-law was telling me about a Russian lady she saw wearing a fur coat buying fillet mignon with food stamps. If I was the guy working, I would have refused to sell her it.

That is exactly the wrong way to interpret the logic. The proper way would be knowing they vote Republican so they can KEEP more of their income and THEY can give it to the poor THEY see fit.

Socialist/democrats want as much from everyone as possible so they can give a smaller portion of it back to them. It makes the idiots feel as if govt. is actually giving them something for free.

Morons who wayy overpay their income taxes only to get a huge refund come April are the same dopes. You are giving the govt. an interest free loan all year, only to just get it back with no gain. It makes you the dumb in-law who loans famil money.

People think the motorcycle safety classes that the state offers are free. Nope, WE are all ALL paying for a very few to get a free class. The money is SUPPOSED to be meant to reduce the cost for EVERYONE who take the class in this state, not free for some. FYI, motorcyclists in NJ voted to have that money added to the license fee to reduce the cost for everyone and the socialists in the state bastardized the program so they could have their own sandbox to play in.

Socialism.........Robin Hooding

That's a straw man fallacy. But the issue with that is they'll only help people they want to help, not the people that necessarily need it the most. So they can discriminate on any basis they want. I'm not saying the current system works, but allowing the "haves" to choose which "have nots" not help will widen the divide. If a needy woman had an abortion because her abusing ex-husband raped her, they won't help her. In the eyes of god that's a double sin. No help for you!

If they violate the Constitution they should be impeached and held accountable for their actions. Case Closed.
The "UN Charter and International Law" do NOT supersede US law and sovereignty. The Geneva convention only applies to "Lawful combatants in the Uniform of the sovereign state whose army they serve in". Terrorist scum-bags don't count or get covered.
