Congrats on your bump to BLUE Chris. Looks like water was my culprit for keeping my bike running yesterday. Driving home in relatively dry conditions I guess dried up whatever water was giving me grief yesterday and the bike started right up when I got back home...go figure.

Yeah Baby - Friday was probably my best trackday so far.....
I like the "West" layout better than the "East", although
FUSA is still my favorite at Pocono.
The morning on Friday was partially wet, but not heavy
rain and I loved it - Excellent grip and Coach #42 actually
told me not to try to go any faster in the rain.
Having the rear slide so easily is good for Big Grins!
I'm looking forward to Blue at BeaveRun at the end of
September, and maybe FUSA the week before.

Thanks go out to Blue group member Joshua for some
good advice and to Kevin Coach #42 for the bump.

Thanks guys like Iroc said had a great day. The track was slippery in the morning but I was able to push it about 85% the rest of the day until the last session.

Had the rear slide on me a bunch of times in the first and last session of the day. It was nothing new to me considering I came from a little dirt bike experience in the past. I guess you kinda get pressure to come in from the track after you're gridded in the blue group with 5 guys and 2 of them crash in the last session. Blue had a handfull of people in it but people started to slowly leave as the weather got worse. Ran with David and Joshua in the blue group and had some awesome passing sessions.

As for me getting into the blue group, well I don't really have much to say except that I was having a great time and just riding my ride yesterday with no pressures or emotions. I just decided to go out and make the best of the weather and in return I got a gracious bump from Mr. Dave Gallo and Bobby (not CBRBob ) but a coach who's last name I forgot. I will admit I had doubts on my ability to be there but I trusted the coaches decision and went out with them after the 2nd session of the day and had a blast the rest of the day. (with exception to when my contact flew out of my eye on the nascar back straight and I thought I was done for the day only to look on my airvent on my jacket to see it dangling there! )

All in all I had a blast and unfortunatly my funds are low and my job is now coming to a halt due classes coming up in about a week or so. I got 5 days out of my Metzler Racetechs and now am in need of some new rubber. So we'll see if I can get another track day in before the end of the season.
