Default alpinestars smx-2 air carbon gloves review

Don't ever buy these. What crap, in 6 months of riding time they are falling apart. My fingers are going through the gloves and the fabric just frayed apart. I'll have pics soon. The right glove looks good but the left one is destroyed. I have never had a problem with alpinestars. I'm calling the company to see what they say but they don't have any warranty on there website and basically don't take responsibility for anything. I just picked up a nice set of aplinestar leather gloves today. Hopefully I won't be banning Alpinestars from my gear closet.

From reading online this is a common problem with these gloves.

nah they aren't counterfeit. I bought them at a dealer... I think. This is a common problem from what I was reading online about them.

I've got the same gloves and had issues with the 1st set. The cuff around the wrist was coming loose after just a few months. Minore issue but pissed me off. I simply emailed them and they sent me another set and a return shipping label for the old ones. No issues with the new set so far but you can tell they aint gonna last long.

sup laz!

these

Btw, I wanted these gloves but I went with the Icon Merc short gloves. They are leather and after 1.5 years, 8200 miles, and one low side later they are still good.
