Pete tell them to fax you a letter asap confirming their error and keep the letter with you when you ride cuz if you get stopped it's your responsability to be sure all of your tags/stickers/ID's are valid and if they aren't the officer won't buy that excuse without proof and he'll be sure to teach you a nice expensive lesson afterwards.

I rode from June-last month without and inspection sticker and I never even got pulled over. no mention of it from the officers who were at the scene of the crash either. sweet!

I havent had my bike inspected since I bought it in 2003. It is now 2006 and i've been pulled over more than I can count on my bike and have not recieved a ticket for it. Also did not have a registration sticker any of those times either

So one's an asshole if they choose to take a spirited ride on a public road, but it's okay for one to operate a motorvehicle with faulty registration/inspection tags...yes, I see the logic here.

then you just got lucky. it's just always good to have all the stickers. It doesn't take a lot of time to get these proper things. U'll be hating yourself for getting a hefty ticket when all you had to do was spend an hour riding to the inspection place and taking 30 sec to put a sticker on...

neways...i didn't see my registration for 3 weeks while i recieved my registration for my minivan ( i registered the vehicles within 5 minutes of each other onlnie)..so i called them....they sent me another one...but the original one came in the same day that the new one was sent to me. I opened both. The one that they origiinally sent me had the two stickers. But the one i requested again didn't...
