OWWW!! I couldn't even finish watching that and I'm not particularly squeamish. Guess it's because I've lost toenails in the past. Ouchie!

I started squirming the second I saw the pliers. I can't stand stuff like that. I have to change the channel when the lamisil commercial comes on and the fungus lifts up the nails. I seriously freak out over that.

Just bring your vice grips and you'll be all set.

I had to do that once a few years ago because of an ingrown toenail. For some reason, the nail decided to grow straight down instead of out. It hurt so bad that pulling it out was actually a relief. It took about 4 months for it to grow back.

i did the same thing when my toes bot bashed. it started going ingrown and i walked with a limp it hurt so bad. took out my vise grips and put them on the nail. didn't work though, i put them on the part that you clip and the nail just broke at that point.
when the doctor removed it, he gave me 4 shots, all in the toe. then he took out this metal popsicle type of instrument and shove it all the way under my nail to the cuticle. then he pried it up. he repeated that several times until the nail was sticking straight up.
fun to watch
