ok, she will need a pit crew, so I'm counting on you guys! You'll have to make sure to change wheels for her, get her lunch, rub her feet, etc...

It was certainly my pleasure to introduce two new addicts to TPM. I will agree that in the morning the track was WAY cold and slick. It was also the first time that red group, white group and ART basic was all in one session. It was also a bonus that Ian and Mario got the bonus of being the only 2 in class. They were lucky to have such a small class with almost one on one instruction. I must say that I saw an impressive change in the riding of both Ian and Mario. They listened and followed Bill's instruction and the results were very apparent. While there was one incident with Bill Sink passing me (very closely) All in all it was a great day. The track is quite technical and once you get the hang of it, it is an absolute blast.

Both Mario and Ian really got a lot out of the intruction and the results were impressive. I am sure they will be doing other track events in the near future.

They both seemed to agree on all the things that people have said in the past. There is plenty to learn and the track is way different than the street. I hope more members get the chance to experience the track in the future.

Here are a few snaps from the day..

Most of the people seemed very interested in us crazy bikers braving the cold. A few even wanted to have their photos taken by the bikes.

Glad to her you had a good time Jim. After the first session it did warn up a bit and traction got better. As the last few sessions got a bit slick but over all it was a great day. The bike guy even out lasted to car guys. The last 2 session for the car no one showed up to the grid but a quick call to the paddock and the bike guys were back out, and we don't have heaters. All in all it was a great time riding and just having fun with fellow riders.

I got a ride along with Michele, which was a great time and she a very very good driver. Just as the guy in the Porsche that was in our way for 5 laps.

Omar, Michele was pitted by Mike and I and we help her with car tech. I did offer to help her change her tire but I already knew the answer was going to be NO. She was busy all day and had some interesting stories of the wonderful drivers she worked with :-)

Bill and I rubbed our elbows on few occasions ( messing around of course)and there is only very few people that I'm comfortable to do so.He's one of them. Maybe you just not comfortable with people riding around you yet.

We had one bike group about 15 riders. A good mix of white and red riders with one blue group rider and he fell 25 yards past pit out. He did come out after lunch. Other then that one other bike went down.

There were moore incidents with cars, GT40 when off and a Lotus Eclipse into the wall. Also we had 2 people get car sick and were let out somewhere on the track, a hot track mind you, not smart.

On our way out of the track in the dark EMRA was on the main doing their night racing. We watched for a bit, very interesting mix of cars, some street cars, D sport racers, miata's a few civic's and a nascar truck. The truck was kicking ass too.

Dave was shocked that he actually passed him at tech. The wear indicators on the sides were showing. Most think it was a combination of shyte tires and a happy throttle on a cold, slick track. They gave him the option of getting a replacement set of tires or sit the rest of the day out. Later on I saw him putting some new rubber on.

I saw him mounting a new set of tires in after that. The track was sketchy for the first lap but after that you could get up to a good pace, not record setting but a decent pace. If you survived the day and rode a decent pace it was a good way to end the season.

The second guy that fell was a car guy that used a TPM bike and tossed it away in the long left after pit out. not sure what he was driving but he was over with the GT40, the Bentley and the 2 Porsche's at the large white trailer and motor home.
