Default Why do people stare at bike riders?

...are people always looking at you at a stop light or in a parking lot as you're getting off your bike?

It's weird...beautiful day today so I went out for a ride...as I was waiting for a green arrow to turn left....the car to my right had a green light but it wasn't going anywhere..I look over and she's staring at me and the bike...same at another stop light.

Getting off my bike to go into Wawa, lady in a truck is watching me take off my helmet and like watching me..lol.

i was dressed up in boots, gloves and race jacket.....feels like people look at bike riders like some special breed of people..lol....as corny as that sounds

hmm...a few reasons maybe? a guy wearing gear riding is definately hot....not bein able to see what he looks like is mysterious/attractive...i know before I started riding that I wondered what it was like so I would look at someone out of curiosity in what it takes, what its like, etc. and just ponder...maybe admiration of their bike/gear. just a few thoughts...

I used to catch people staring at me all the time at red lights, I still have no idea why?

Mirrored shields are great for scoping out the punani.

Would I sound corny if I said I felt kinda cool on the bike...lol. Although I still need to drop another 20lbs or so for my bro's jacket to fit me better...i mean it fits but a little tight...could be a little looser. Steve's like 205-210...I'm 235.
