Default Commuta Busa's Son is

Famous.

Hey ken just read the new issue of super street bike magazine and saw your letter to the editor. It was good to have you write in about you and your son's trip down to maxtons last year on the busa. Plus i think he is pretty happy that he made the mag with his picture.

For all that don't know this magazine check out www.superstreetbike.com and pick it up at your local store. Its my favorite bike mag thats out there right now.

I remember the first time Ken rolled up with his son, I figured he'd have to take it easy...till he passed me on a backroad.

it's kinda a funny story. I only sent the editor an e-mail as a small thanks for them sponsoring and promoting the Shootout event. Maxton has gotten alot of publicity from it. Alot more doantions for track imrpovements also came in. I just wanted to show him how much of a benefit some thigns are for building family bonds. We wrote back and forth a few times and he asked if he could publish some of the e-mails and pics. I told him sure. Also they (super street bike)/lead editor plan on bringing the zx13.5 to race Maxton and I gave him a few pokes! lol

I just picked up te mag Sunday after someone else e-mailed me to tell me that it was posted in the mag. My son was pretty happy about it except that the pics were from way back in 2004 and he looks like such a little kid. lol

For those that do see the pics. It's a picture of my son with Lee Shiertz (rider of the fastest bikes in the world) and Rich Yancy (owner/builder of the fastest bike in the world). The bike set the record at over 260mph and is now retired.

My son loves goign to the events and loves going out ridding. I'm still very cautious when he's on the back though.
