When putting the bike up on the stands, rear stand first.

When taking the bike off the stands, rear stand last.

EDIT - If you try to use the front stand either first, or alone,
then the bike can still pivot around the steering stem and tip over.

Sidebar - possibly dumb question. When I finally do get the front stand, which is the correct order of lifting? Front first then rear? Or rear first.>?

Rear first, always to lift. Reverse order to drop back down.

Thats what I was thinking about. Pivot issues... I figured it was best to save the rear for last..

Just wanted to make sure..

I have a pitbull rear stand and also a set from Checkered Flag Motorsports ... I am not surprised they went belly up, customer service was terrible. I ordered, didn't hear anything for about a month, was about to cancel my order and they just showed up one day. No emails or calls in response to my calls. Anyway, the pitbull is a noticeably better stand in quality but the checkered flag stands work well too, fit and finish is nice, just a little lightweight and wimpy feeling when holding both that and the pitbull.
