Thanks, it would get washed and detailed once a week or more if it was caught in the rain. Had it for 9 years, purchased it in '96 with 850 miles on it, it had 37,000 miles on it in those pics which were taken in '04.

I've got an 04 FZ6... next year I'll decide if I want an FZ1, sell the FZ6, and buy another 600 for screwing around, or what. Regardless, I'd never give up my upright seating position for those long rides

I would recommend the fz1. Aside from a little more weight wich to me is both good and bad, long rides are one of its strong suits.
