I can't bring myself to lane split. I'd rather bake in traffic.

I had some pretty nasty remarks to say but since, I'm new here so I'll save it for when I'm better known. I split lanes and anyone that decides to sit in traffic cooking their ass off in my opinion is f-ing nuts. Get off your soap box and put some miles on your bike.

Jose, all of the people here ride their motorcycles like they should be ridden, many of them ride thousands a season easy, probably more than you ride to and from the local hangouts in "Bwookwyn".
Just because people practice safe riding does not give you the authority to tell people off to a forum you are not even familiar with.
You say you want to save your nasty remarks for when you are better known? Well how about saving them period, because we might not just get a chance to know you with that kind of attitude

Go for it. Just be prepared to receive them in return.

Local hang outs wouldn't know of any. But yes I expect to get what I give. I couldn't imagine anyone willing to sit in traffic when there is such a easy way to get through.

If you want to be funny why don't you come up with something original. I respect the fact that you teach Motorcycle safety courses but I've been riding for quite sometime and lane splitting has always been a part of my commuting.

no matter how badly a car tries to prevent me from getting by, I eventually will and I simply give the jerk the Rossi to Biaggi Middle Finger....
More times than not, cars make room for me. I also acknowledge the kindness with a wave.

Teaching MSF courses has nothing to do with how I ride on my own time.
Do what you want, just realise that you are pissing many people off when you do it. When the time comes for legislation against motorcycle, guess who will be voting against the rest of us. You know how much legislation is coming that will prevent you from modifying you bike AT ALL? This because some people with loud pipes pissed off the wrong people.

I rode to philly yesterday, a guy on a busa was lane splitting and got taken out by a car door....... the cops were right there ( because of construction) I tried to be a witness saying that the cager delibrately opened his door on the bike. after the dust settled. Cager needed a tow, because his door wouldn't close, the cager on the left got an accident report because of the door hitting his car, the busa needed a tow because it was all fubar'd.
now the ticket fun.... The cager that opened his door got a ticket for opening his door and hitting the other car NOTHING FOR INTENTIONALLY TAKING OUT THE BIKE, The busa got, improper lane change and reckless.
The cop told me the busa was getting hammered because he was lane splitting, its illegal in PA.....
