Ok so what I gather from this thread is the only glove to get is over $200?

Any options for people on a budget? I gather the phatoms are great but I am not tracking so they sound a little overkill for me.

I have the Held Thrux. They provide more than adequate protection for the track and are reasonably priced at $150. Their measuring system is extremely accurate.

I have had my A* GP Pro for over 5 years. The fit was amazing and look they held up for over 5 years. I forget what I paid for them back then but, do the math 189/5 $38/yr for a great glove They now have wholes in the fingers and need to be replaced. I am going to just get another pair of these.

I finally took a ride (in a car) out to WCW to try on and order a set of HELD Phantoms... They are clearly a much better made item than any gloves I have worn before. Ron was the guy who helped me and was really patient with all my questions. I will be back to buy more items from him in the future.

I have used A* gloves for several years with a few minor get offs in the process. None have failed to provide adequate protection.
