I got an 86 Yamaha SRX600. Haven't ridden it too much lately. Kinda of a little project right now.

I have 2 V65 Magnas one 83 and one 84 that I use for all my long hauling and cruising back and forth to work and until Honda makes a real power cruiser that is all I will ride on vacation and communting,as much as I like my 929 no place for the Tbag and gear for a 10 day trip.

They do, and it's been out for years, it's called the VTX 1800

I said POWER cruiser not cruiser, sorry but ran across too many with my Magna and at only 600 lbs that 21 year bike chews those things up,they don't handle as well and vibrate too much so I guess I should say a real V4 power cruiser.

It seems our defining terms are different here. These days a "power cruiser or cruiser" would be the VTX 1800, and a "sport tourer" would be the Interceptor...I'm sure you'd like the Interceptor being it's the best of both worlds, and it has the V-4 you're looking for.

Yeah, probably dating myself there, but the V Twins just don't cut it for power and handling for me,why I still have 2 magnas and a VF1000R. As nice as the new ceptors are for the price I would pick a CBR and stick to the dinosaurs i have for touring although the ST is pretty dang impressive.

If you've ridden an Interceptor and feel that way then I understand, but if you haven't you should throw a leg over...I've seen these in some serious action on the highway in tripple digits and laying it over hard in the twisties, they seem to hold their own without a hitch while still carrying a full set of hard bags.
