Why would her parents buy her a Porsche at age 18? I'm just glad that she is the one that paid the price for her stupidity rather than somebody else.

I'm not defending her actions, but some of us speak as if we've never reached that speed on any motorvehicle. Speed doesn't change it's circumstances of impact, it can still inflict the same damage, she was just very unlucky.

Speeding near a toll both and passing on the right isn't unlucky, its cruising for a bruising.

I mean, don't take this the wrong way or anything, but why the fuck would someone try to pass someone at 100 who was doing 70 right at a toll? Locally there was a guy on the Newburgh Beacon Bridge that hit the toll boths in a new mustang cobra his parents bought him (it was his third brand new car after previously wrecking the first two). Don't most people slow down when approaching tolls? Not that it would have saved her life, but it would have put some chance of that in the books if she had just waited to pass. That's too bad.

Those pictures are sickening though. There are two good things about it...
1) I'm certain she didn't feel anything with that one
2) At least we know toll collectors are safe from stupid drivers. (the one on the bridge held up just fine too)

No one knows except her, but perhaps she wasn't familiar with that highway or where exactly she was... I thought the same thing

From the aftermath... Proves she didn't have much brains to begin with.

thats why true sports cars shouldn't be a convertible. If she had a roof...who knows. Looks like that wall kinda stopped things in a hurry.

These are the kinds of pictures that should be shown in drivers ed and to HS students. Especially ones in Malibu.
