From what I've read, the entire Main course is getting a 2 inch overlay. You guys who are going next week, let us know!

Edit: now that I read some more, it does seem to be just selected areas. Damn. At first I'd read it was the entire track. Oh well. Still an improvement.

I called Summit and Angie said that the entire Main course is being paved.
I hope she wasn't toying with me...She wouldn't do that, would she?

The pavement they use has a very quick cure time. Beaver and Calabogie were ridden and driven on shortly after the pavement was down.

I'll be there on Monday.

Took a ride over and holy crap....its amazing..almost brought a tear to ma eye...took a quick look at T9 and theres no curbing, dirt around the edges of the track. I'm guessing with the new 2" overlay they have to make new curbing. Dammit, is it Monday yet?
