"Smooth" and "ease" are what it's all about on sportbikes be it on the dyno, road, or track, smooth is fast, and ease is steady with braking, handling, and acceleration.
The straighter/evenly curved the line is on the horsepower and torque charts the better, it indicates a well tuned fuel/powerplant system. Any dips in the line aside from the shift points would indicate a weak spot that robs the bike of performance at that particular point in time, but that can be fixed with further tuning.
