i am looking for one, if anyone of your friends selling one or know some one is selling one LMK. my budget is 2k give or take a few hundred. 600cc only. clean or salvage title [good condition only]. thanks in advance.

check the WERA board. There is always stuff there. I think you may be about a grand short of getting a decent track bike but I could be wrong....

Yeah I think you are right but you should be able to find something if you are patient. look for an older r6 99-02 were basically the same bikes and bulletproof.

You are right i am a grand short of getting a decent bike. but my first year and all, i just want a bike that I can learn on. Lot of bikes on wera are down south or a bit far so picking them up is a problem for me, but I am still looking there.

Would you consider a 96 zx6r? It was my first track bike, and I use it as a spare now, but it hasnt seen the track in over a year... Low miles, no papers, and considerably lower than your budget...
